Fan Created Art - Egocenter's 80's Highway

Guys we're back. Been a while since we've last posted. Life got really busy with moving and stuff. But now it's fall. Retreating indoors to begin enjoying some of our winter hobbies. Got a few things already lined up and planned. But to start us off. I was browsing around some of the art work posted on deviantart.com and came across the image below. I thought this would be a perfect addition to our Fan Created Art section. I just love how this artist really captured all of the popular great On Screen Cars of the day. You've got the Delorean from the second BTTF film hovering above. Next is the Dukes of Hazzard General Lee in mid-air (awesome!). Down below you've got Optimus Prime leading the pack slightly. Let's not forget KITT and Ecto 1. Gotta love this cartoon style artwork. Looks totally like something off of 80's Saturday mornings. Hint the name "80's Highway." He's to you Egocenter on deviantart!

To Be Restored - Back to the Future Delorean - Bob Gale

Anything left to sit and collect dust is never a good situation. Especially when it's a famous movie car. After decades of wowing fans on the Universal Studios Back Lot Tour, the "A" Back to the Future Delorean car is in need of major dose of TLC. As you may know this car was one of the premium cars used in all three films. But don't worry there's hope! According to a recent article over at BTTF.com. Bob Gale writer and co-creator of the Back to the Future franchise is heading a project to restore the car to museum quality. Bob has in-listed the skills of BTTF Delorean replica masters Joe Walser, J Ryan and Terry Matalas. We're looking forward to see how these guys make the magic happen. Learn more about the project and how you can help at BTTF.com. Remember the FUTURE is what you make it!

Famous Movie Cars As Pixar Characters

Imagine your favorite movie cars as Pixar characters! Well the guys over at Next Movie commissioned Old Red Jalopy (a poster designer) to anthropomorphically redesign seven famous movie cars as Cars 2 characters! Seven famous movie cars were Pixarized (is that even a word?). Not sure. But I agree with NextMovie.com, I too smell a concept for some interesting sequel material! Listen up Pixar and Cars fans! All of the cars feature eyes on their windshields just like the regular Pixar Cars characters. Each of them have a unique smile and facial expression. I like how the artist took the time to make each car special. I can start to see voices and personalities forming in my head for some of the cars. However the pieces that really caught my eye were the Delorean Time Machine, The Batmobile, and Ecto 1! Check them out over at NextMovie.com! Hopefully Old Red Jalopy will have these posted on their site for public consumption too! See ya next time.
